Ninello’s is more than just an Italian restaurant—it’s a vision brought to life by three passionate individuals who share a love for Italian cuisine and hospitality. Together, they created Ninello’s to offer Liverpool a fresh and evolving take on Italian dining—where every month brings new flavours and unforgettable experiences.

Co-Founder - Head Chef
Antonino La Via
Antonino is a passionate, creative, and ambitious Head Chef with over 25 years of experience in the culinary world. His journey began in the heart of Sicily, Italy, where he developed a deep appreciation for the freshest and most delicious ingredients. He later moved to Liverpool, where he worked at various restaurants, gaining extensive knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Recently, he has served as a private chef, allowing him to showcase his passion for cooking and his commitment to delivering unique culinary experiences to his clients. Antonino is now proud and excited to begin his journey at his own restaurant Ninello’s where he aims to provide an exceptional Italian culinary experience.

Biagio La Via
Biagio is Antonino’s son, sharing a passion for the food and hospitality industry. His journey began in Liverpool, where he worked in various restaurants, showcasing his skills as an exceptional waiter with a bubbly personality. Although he is now an engineer, in his spare time, he has been planning and managing the Ninello’s project. His expertise in logistics, attention to detail, and finance skills are invaluable assets to Ninello’s family.

Co-Founder - General Manager
Aurelio Petirro
Aurelio began his journey as a bartender in Sicily and later moved to Liverpool, where he worked at Piccolino restaurant. During his time there, he took on various roles, starting with supporting the kitchen and eventually becoming the bar manager. He quickly became popular with both regular and new customers, making everyone feel welcome. Aurelio proudly advanced to the position of General Manager and is now ready to take his career to the next level by opening Ninello’s with Antonino and Biagio. He maintains a positive spirit at work and is a valuable asset to everyone on his team.
